A processing fee is also needed to obtain the requested file but this would depend on the type of document and the method used to process the request. One can do a fingerprint scan in order to get a copy of a criminal record but that the fee is higher than the usual search. The basic information of the criminal record being requested is also needed when requesting for a copy of such file. It is also important to provide the contact details of the one who filed the request for documentation purposes. By following all of the set guidelines, the retrieval process would be easier.
